Critical national/state meeting takes place
(3 April 2009): An important meeting occurred this week on FDD, bringing together national and state representatives from both the CEPU and management.
The talks were designed to get a sense of where this major change program is currently at and an understanding where it is headed.
The union has emphasised that while it appreciates why Post will want to change the way delivery operates through the greater use of sequencing, the union's priority is to promote quality jobs - that are full time, pay well and are safe.
We also expect Post to improve the way it consults about FDD - which Post has said it would like to do.
